Frequently Asked

The Work

Can you help us with...?

I’m providing all the services listed on my work page. I’m not doing any logo design, print design in general, 3D modelling or back-end development. If the project requires capabilities I cannot provide, I’m happy to team up with people who can.

Who’s creating the work?

Only me. I’m not using any sub-contractors, unless otherwise specified.

Who else have you worked with that we might know?

If you are interested in a specific industry, please contact me and I’ll let you know. Some of the bigger names I’ve collaborated with are Autodesk, Applovin, Erwin Hymer Group, Domus Software, Sharecare, Resoptima, Simba-Dickie-Group, and Bright (now LinkedIn). I work with clients of all scopes and sectors.

How much experience do you have?

I designed my first amateur website at the age of 15 and since then have continued learning and building. I’ve been working as a professional designer for nine years now, two of them at a design agency. I’ve successfully launched more than 100 apps and web projects, helping more than 50 clients with my services.

Where are you getting your work done?

I usually work remotely, mostly from my home office in Nuremberg, Germany. Of course, if you wish to meet in person and have the budget to fly me to you, my bags are packed and I will gladly meet with you.

Which tools are you using?

I’m primarily designing in Sketch and prototyping with Flinto, Flow and Marvel. I build front-ends in HTML, CSS (SASS, LESS, stylus) and Javascript (jQuery, vue.js). When it comes to content management systems, I highly recommend Kirby CMS, but I can handle Wordpress as well.

Rates, Contracts and Payments

What are your rates and how much will my project cost?

My rates are calculated on a case-by-case basis according to the work that's required. If you’d like a more specific ball park, let me know what you are looking for and I’ll provide a detailed estimate.

Do we have to sign a contract?

Yes – new work relationships always start with a fine contract outlining our rights and duties.

Do you require a deposit to begin work?

I request a 50% deposit from new clients not based in Germany. Long-term clients just pay their invoices in a timely manner at the end of each month or at completed milestones.

How can we pay you?

I’m accepting the following regular payment options: SEPA transfer (no fee), SWIFT transfer (you cover your banks fees, I cover mine), PayPal (4% fee). In addition you can pay me with the following crypto currencies: BTC, ETH, XLM, XMR and USDC.

Everything else

Can you be my mentor?

I’m an active member of the worldwide design community and try to help whenever I can, but I do not offer one-to-one mentoring. Feel free to send me an email at any time with your questions and I will try to answer within a week.

Would you like to speak at our conference?

Sorry, but I’m not interested in public speaking.

Can we meet and chat about design and other things?

Sure—if you are in the area, feel free to send me a message. Sometimes I’m visiting other cities around the world, so follow me on Twitter to learn when I'll be in your hood.
